End Polio Now

The PolioPlus Program was launched in 1985 to eradicate polio worldwide. Rotary, along with their partners, have reduced polio cases by 99 percent since the project was launched. However, Rotary International still needs the public's help in the fight to eradicate polio completely. There are a number of ways one can help, including donations, creating awareness through their social media campaign, or taking further action.

Rotary Peace Fellowships

Rotary International selects individuals annually to receive fully funded academic fellowships at one of the peace centres. Fellows are selected from all over the world, based on their ability to have a significant, positive impact on the world.

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships

Ambassadorial Scholarships (founded 1947) was a program of the Rotary Foundation. The program ended in 2013. From 1947 to 2013, nearly 38,000 men and women from 100 nations studied abroad under its auspices. The purpose of the program was to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries and geographical areas. While abroad, scholars served as goodwill ambassadors to the host country and gave presentations about their homelands to Rotary clubs and other groups. Upon returning home, scholars shared with Rotarians and others the experiences that led to a greater understanding of their host country.
